He obtained his PhD from University of Debrecen (UD) in 2004. He is currently a Professor and head of the Institute of Sectoral Economics and Methodology of UD. His current research topic is the study of traditional and industrial sustainable pork supply chains with decision support models and surveys. The number of his scientific publications is more than 250, 90 articles were published in scientific journals. Now he has served as Guest Editor for the Special Issue of an International Journal:
He has presented papers at more than 40 national and international congresses, and has been guest speaker at 10 international conferences. He is a member of an international professional body (EAAE). He has done research at several prestigious centers such as University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz, Chiang Mai University in Thailand, University of South-Carolina, Montenegro Business Schools, University Zagreb, Vienna University Of Economics And Business, Newcastle University Business School.
